Good morning, evening or afternoon from wherever you’re reading this.
Today I just wanted to share some thoughts of mine.
I bet you’re thinking I never want to be a servant, so this doesn’t apply to me. I’m not talking about getting paid to do chores around the house. By servant I mean being prepared to help others because you have the desire too.
Let’s remember that being obedient brings glory to God and in Ephesians 6:1-3 (NKJV) says ‘Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. “Honor your father and mother,” which is the first commandment with promise: “that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth.”‘ and in 2 John 1:6 ‘And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love.’
Don’t forget that even Jesus came to serve, ‘For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.” Mark 10:45 NKJV
